The Free Reformed churches of Busselton and Bunbury present

Women's League Day South West

Join us in anticipating this year’s Women’s League Day where we can reconnect with each other, encourage one another and grow in our faith together.

The event date is set for the 1st of November D.V. in the beautiful country town of Capel.

How does our eternal destination shape how we live today?

This year, we will explore the pilgrim mindset of faith exemplified in Hebrews 11 and reflect on how this mentality encourages transformation in our lives today.

We will reflect on the biblical patriarchs of faith who lived as strangers on earth, and in faith looked to the heavenly city built by God. We will also consider how our heavenly citizenship (Phil 3:20) shapes our behaviour now and encourages us to adopt and live out this forward-looking faith in our families, God’s church, and the world.

Our speakers

Reverend R.E. Pot

What is the pilgrim mindset referenced in Hebrews 11 and how should this mindset shape our thinking?  In Session 1, Rev Pot will encourage us to adopt this forward-looking faith, shaped by the blessings we have in Christ.

Reverend A.G. Hagg

What does the pilgrim mindset mean for our daily lives? In Session 2, Rev Hagg will explore how living as strangers in this world (Phil. 3:20) encourages us to let faith shape our values, relationships, and service in our families, the church, and the world.
